- July 2024 - Our new book chapter on fungal biosafety and biosecurity in the Philippines published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group) just came out this month. Check it here. While get an exclusive full-text access here
- January 2024 - I am thrilled to share that my Master's thesis proposal, which focuses on studying the metagenomic effects of citrate treatment to the microbial community in the bioremediation of heavy metal-contaminated soils, has been approved! This milestone marks my official candidacy for a Master's degree. Yay! Know more by reading the abstract here
- July 2023 - Our monograph, The Bicol River Basin Project, was showcased at the book relaunching event, Madahom: A Book and Art Festival, organized by the Partido State University in partnership with the Ateneo de Naga University Press and Savage Mind Bookshop.
- May 2023 - We were honored with a Special Citation Award at the prestigious 40th National Book Awards for our monograph, The Bicol River Basin Project, in recognition of its significant contribution to Science. Read it here
- March 2023 - Our book, The Bicol River Basin Project, was nominated as finalist for the Best Book in Science award in the 40th cycle of the National Book Awards organized by the National Book Development Board and the Manila Critics Circle. Read the news here
- October 2022 - I’m super thrilled to share my very first book chapter co-authorship in a pioneering book reference for Philippine mycology titled Mycology in the Tropics: Updates on Philippine Fungi. You can find the book at this link, and our chapter here
- July 2022 - Our monograph, The Bicol River Basin Project, has been recognized as one of this year's recipients of the prestigious Outstanding Book/Monograph (OBM) Award by the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) during its 44th Annual Scientific Meeting. Read the article here
